You could also start some family discussions, or suggest activities to do together. It’ll give you the chance to make known your desire to live smoke-free, while having fun! Here are some suggestions.
- Test your parents: ask them to do the quiz. Do they know as much as you?
- Take a family walk, to breathe some fresh air and do the Cigarette Butt Hunt at the same time (bring a bag and some disposable gloves, and pick up the cigarette butts on your way).
- Ask a smoker to comment about the pictures on cigarette packs that show the harmful effects of smoking.
- While watching a TV show or a movie, count the number of times you see someone smoking.
